Hello, Honey Bee friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!

I have a floral card to share with you today featuring the Lovely Layers: Wildflowers Honey Cuts!! You know I love all of the Lovely Layers dies and this set actually has three different flowers in the set…a poppy, anemone and blue bells!!

I began by die-cutting all of the pieces for my flowers from green, light blue, purple, black, creamy white and three shades of red cardstock using the Lovely Layers; Wildflowers Honey Cuts. I added some shading to the poppy with Fired Brick Distress Ink and a blending brush. I also blended some Twisted Citron Distress Ink onto the center of the anemone and Mermaid Lagoon onto the blue bells to create a little dimension. Next, I assembled and adhered all of the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Dies from a piece of navy polka-dot patterned paper in the Birthday Bliss Paper Pad. It was adhered to a white top-folding card base with Bee Creative Glue. All of the blooms were popped up with foam adhesive, while the stems and leaves were adhered flat to the background with liquid glue.

I stamped a sentiment from the My Favorite Flower Stamp Set onto white cardstock with navy ink and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I thought this sentiment was just perfect!! It was also popped up with foam adhesive and this card was finished!

I really love how these flowers pop against the navy background!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
