Hi friends! Happy release day! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and today, I have this adorable shaker card I made with the brand new Happy Hearts release! Have you seen the sneak peaks? There are so many fun and pretty goodies to choose from! What I love about this release is that most of the items are not exclusively Valentine but can be used for other occasions too.

My personal favorite is Heart Hugs die set that I used for this shaker card. How cute are these critters hugging/holding hearts, balloons, or anything you want them to! I used the fox today and I die cut the elements from various card stocks including some textured ones. TIP: If your card stock is thin, it helps to die cut the base shape from heavy weight card stock and adhere all the elements on it. I die cut the eyes and nose twice and layered them together to make them stand out. The heart was die cut from red card stock and coated first with clear glitter pen and then with Glossy Accents before adhering it to the fox. I just can’t get enough of his tiny little paws!

The shaker part is very simple to put together. I die cut the pattern paper from the new Happy Hearts paper pad with also new Love A2 Cover Plate and backed it with clear acetate. I then cover the back of this panel with thin foam tapes creating wells and put some beads in before putting a piece of light pink card stock cut to the same A2 size.

The sentiment is from Love Love Love Sentiments set (new!) and I white heat embossed it on teal card stock and die cut it with the coordinating die. I then adhered both fox and the sentiment on the panel with foam tapes. To finish off the card, I applied Glossy Accents on the eyes and nose of the fox and tied some coordinating color of ribbon. I created a wax seal with ‘Happy Mail’ sentiment using the new Happy Mail Wax Stamper and Happy Hearts Wax Melts. It coordinates perfectly with the card and the envelop and that makes me giddy!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
