Happy new week friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio here sharing this snow globe turned cake dome card featuring yummy sweets! I think this little waffle is so adorable. This design can be made into fun shaker card too!

I started off with making these waffle and cup cakes. I used new A Waffle Lot stamps and dies for the cute waffle and Piece of Cake stamps and coordinating dies for the cup cake wrappers and a cherry. For the actual cupcakes, whipped cream and chocolate icing, I used Cupcake Builder die (this is a stand alone die). The waffle was clear heat embossed on both pink and kraft card stock. I then cut out the strawberry sauce portion from the pink one and glued on top of the kraft one. I added pink cheeks and some shading with markers. For the cupcakes, I heat embossed the wrappers on colored card stock and die cut them. The whipped cream was die cut three times from white card stock and glued together for some dimension. I coated the chocolate icing (die cut from brown card stock) with Glossy Accents and added some Candy Sprinkles. I also added enamel dot for the cherry and a clay heart to the waffle. To add some texture to the strawberry sauce, I added Glossy accents and sprinkled with clear glitter.

To make a cake dome, I used the Snow Globe A2 Shaker dies. I die cut both the globe and the frame from mint card stock and layered a cute pattern paper from Sweet On You paper pad (you need a card stock layer underneath the pattern paper since they are thinner). I also cut the base from light brown and white card stock, and then cut the white one into scalloped border using Scallop A2 Card Frames die to layer on. I die cut a piece of acetate with the same globe die and adhered on the back of the frame and added double layer of foam tapes. When adhering the acetate, I added a circle die cut in between to make a handle.

Now all the parts are ready to be assembled! I heat embossed the cute sentiment from A Waffle A Lot set and adhered the cupcakes and waffle. I felt the top part was little empty, so sprinkled some Crystal Clear Acrylic Hearts before adhering the frame on top. I added a bow and a little tag (from Piece of cake die set) stamped with ‘Eat Me’ using a small alphabet stamps.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a wonderful week!!
