Hello there! Happy 4th of July! Leanne here with you today. I have two cards to share, each featuring die cut flowers and a bold die cut sentiment. Since we are celebrating Independence Day here in the US, I thought I’d make one with a red, white, and blue color scheme. The second card is exactly the same design but with fun array of summery colors.
Both cards are A2 size. I used dies from the Flower Pot Card and Stitched Flowers Honey Cuts to cut out several flowers to cover the front of the cards. I arranged the flowers rather randomly but was mindful of where the greeting was going to be placed. To add a bit of sparkle to this design, I die cut the flower centers from Craft Perfect Glitter Card. Silver Screen for the first one and Sugar Crystal for the second.
For the two part greeting I used the Bloom stamp set and coordinating Bloom Honey cuts. I stamped and white heat embossed “LIVE LIFE IN FULL” and trimmed into thin strips. I die cut the word “bloom” along with the two shadow layers. I then layered the greeting over the larger flowers using thin foam squares.
As a little embellishment, I added Nuvo Drops to fill in some of the open space around the flowers. For the first card I used Cloud 9 Dream Drops. On the second card I used Nuvo Jewel Drops that coordinated with the flower colors – Honeysuckle, Limoncello, Sea Breeze, & Pale Periwinkle.

Great cards! Sometimes a simple die cut flower is perfect for a sentiment like this one. Both color palettes are lovely!
