Hello, friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here. Thank you for hanging out with me today on the Honey Bee blog. 🙂 I’m sharing a slimline card that features the following products: “Let’s Hang Out” stamp set, it’s coordinating die set and the Horizon Slimline Borders die set, ” These products are part of the latest Autumn Afternoon release by Honey Bee Stamps.

To create this autumn-inspired slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall, I started by blending the background colors of Rusty Hinge, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin Distressed Inks on a piece of 80lb Neenah cardstock. I used my Honey Bee Blender Brushes to do this. I splattered water on the ink and soaked up any excess with a paper towel to create the water spots. Once the background was dry, I added the cornstalks and white picket fence. The cornstalks were stamped with Versamark ink on Kraft cardstock, embossed with white embossing powder and die cut. The dies in the new Horizon Slimline Borders die set fit a slimline card size perfectly. I die cut the white picket fence for this card.

All of the foreground images were stamped, colored with Copics and die cut. I used my favorite glue – Honey Bee Stamps Precision Glue and holder– to glue all the images in place except for the scarecrows. The scarecrows were popped up using dimensional foam tabs to make them stand out. To finish, I added the phrase at the top and attached this card front panel to a slimline card base. This card fits inside a business-sized envelope.
