Hello friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a 5″ X 7″ “thinking of you” card. The card features several pretty layers and a frame to highlight the sentiment. Honey Bee Stamps is known for its gorgeous and coordinating dies and this card highlights the intricate details included in each layer. I’m using the following products:

Thinking of You Big Time stamps and coordinating Honey Cut Dies

Delicate Daisy A2 Cover Plate Top – Honey Cuts die

Spring Vine Layering Frames Honey Cuts die set

Spring Wreath stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts die

Gingham Happy Hearts pattern paper pad

Spring Fling pattern paper pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue to adhere my elements together and when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tabs. I used the Bee Creative Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink Pad for heat embossing the sentiment, leaves and flowers in gold embossing powder. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this card, I layered soft patterns of paper with delicate and ornate dies. I used an aqua gingham from the Gingham Happy Hearts pattern paper pad for the bottom layer. Next, I layered the intricate daisy design die in a warm gray using the Delicate Daisy A2 Cover Plate Top – Honey Cuts die backed with another subtle pattern paper. This paper is no longer available, but here are some beautiful prints that would work the same in the Spring Fling pattern paper pad. Keep in mind, more print and color will be an overall bolder statement, but the delicate daisies in warm gray could disappear with more pattern. Another option is to use a pin dot pattern from the Pinstripes and Polka Dots paper pad. The soft yellowy-cream would be a great choice!

I die cut the next layer, the Spring Vine frame from a very light aqua. I also stamped, heat embossed in gold and cut the flowers and leaves using the Spring Wreath stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts die. The “thinking of you” sentiment was also heat embossed in gold on a slightly darker aqua color cardstock. I colored the flowers using two colors of Copic Markers: Y26 (gold) and E51 (a warm, light tan).

The frame, flowers, leaves and sentiment were adhered in place. I used Bee Creative Precision Glue for gluing most items in place and Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for the sentiment. I wanted the sentiment words to stand out a bit. I cut the foam down to fit the narrow scripted letters. To finish the look, I added some gem stickers in a honey gold to the centers of the daisies.
