Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I have a project that kind of bridges the gap between the bright, intense colors of summer with the more muted but just as intense colors of autumn. The beautiful intense reds, burnt oranges, and warm peaches of autumn are brightened with some crisp white accents. Let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping a bunch of flowers from the Bold Botanicals stamps in shades of bright red, burnt orange, and peach, as well as the coordinating foliage for the flowers. I die cut the stamped pieces using the coordinating Honey Cuts.

I die cut one of the Sentiment Frames dies from some bright white cardstock, then mounted it on a bright red card base. I arranged the floral die cuts around the frame, then adhered them using a combination of liquid and foam adhesive for lots of dimension. I love the contrast of the bright white edges of the die cuts with the intense red background of the card base!

For the greeting, I stamped a couple of the sentiments from the Inside: Thankful Sentiments on some more bright white cardstock using the deep green ink that I used for the foliage. I die cut them with the coordinating Honey Cuts, then adhered them using some more foam adhesive. The final step was to add some sparkling Moonlight gems for a bit of shine!

Well, that’s all for my project today. It’s finally starting to cool off here, and I’m loving the cool weather. I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
