Hello friends. Do you know any motorcycle lovers? I do. I have lots of motorcyclists in my family so this is a great card to have in my stash. I think they all feel like “kings” when driving their Harley Davidson cycles! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Dad’s Garage stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies

Lovely Layers: Trees – Honey Cuts

Take a Ride stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies

Adventure Awaits paper pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and motorcycle. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

This 5″ X 7″ card uses a background pattern paper from the Adventure Awaits paper pad. The horizontal landscape of trees design makes for a perfect backdrop for an outdoor scene. I enhanced the backdrop by adding trees in the foreground. I used the Lovely Layers: Trees – Honey Cuts to add four trees. While these trees come with layers, I often skip the bottom later and use the top layer with the tree truck to make the trees less dense. On this card, I layered two with the bottom later and the two taller trees are more sparse looking with no bottom layer. I stamped the “King of the Road” phrase from the Dad’s Garage stamp set near the top.

I stamped the motorcycle in black and colored it in using shades of cool grays for the chromes and red for the tank/body. I used Copic Sketch markers in R89, R29, R17, R14, 100, C7, C5, C3, and C1. I also colored the white border around the tires using a W4 so it looked more realistic in the scene. I cut the motorcycle using the coordinating die and attached it to the scene using foam tabs. I nestled in between the trees for a more natural look.

Inside my card, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set, Take a Ride. Above the phrase, I stamped a sign from the Dad’s Garage stamp set. I splattered some black watercolor paint over the inside for a little more “grunge” to complete the inside. Lastly, I attached my front scene panel to the card base to finish.
