Hey there!! Brenda here with another card using one of the sweet birds from the Birds of Paradise Stamp Set!! I can’t help it…these birds pair so well with the Tropical Tweets sentiments, that I want to use them ALL!!!

I started as I do most of my cards…by stamping the toucan, leaves and a few small flowers from Birds of Paradise onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out using the Coordinating Honey Cuts. The greeting, from Tropical Tweets, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I die-cut the Palm Frond Coverplate from green cardstock and adhered it to an A2 size panel cut from a deeper green cardstock. I adhered the cluster of Copic colored images to the background with foam adhesive. A few highlights with a white gel pen and dots with a yellow gel pen and I was done!!

This card really came together so easily!! The Palm Frond Coverplate Honey Cut Die really makes a great background!!
