Hi friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with two floral cards made in lavenders. We have acres of lavender plantings close to our home which at their peek are so gorgeous. Imagine a whole field of blooming lavender. Those fields are the inspiration for my cards today featuring Honey Bee Stamps products.

Card 1: Cactus Terrarium

For my first 5″ X 7″ card, I used the vase from the Farm Fresh Florals stamp and die set to create this terrarium planter. I stamped cactus plants from the Stick With Me stamp set inside the glass vase and added faux dirt and pebbles to make a rock garden. A bold lavender blossom was a must for this garden. 🙂

The layering Flower Petal Cover Plate and Flower Centers Cover Plate were used for the background as well as the gray/white pattern paper from the Back to Basics pattern paper pad. I used my white gel pen to add white dots to the centers of the flowers. The Friend Buzzword stamp and die set was added to the bottom of the card to complete the look. This is a quick card, friends!

Card 2: Lavender Fields

So what do you do with all those flowers you just die cut from the Flower Petal Cover Plate? You use them on another card! I had so many of these cute flowers left over from various projects and I felt guilty throwing them away. I decided to add them to the front of this card, creating a diagonal pattern of colors. I added white centers to the flowers using a white gel pen.

The Friend Buzzword stamp and die set was added to the top of the card. The supporting phrase was heat embossed on black using white embossing powder and attached below the scripted word. This card measures 5″ X 7″, too.
