Hello friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I have this fun love themed shaker card for you. This could easily be a Christmas or general winter card if you change up the sentiments (and maybe use snow confetti instead of red ones). This card could fit in an A2 size envelop if you go easy on the foam tapes (Mine fits just fine).

To make a snow globe shaped card panel, I die cut the cute pattern paper with these trees and a red cardinal from Vintage Holiday paper pad with Snow Globe A2 Shaker die and adhered it to the one cut from a heavy weight card stock to make it sturdier. The frame is cut from grey pattern paper from the same pad and the base from dark grey card stock. To add wooden texture to the base piece, I put it through my die cutting machine with Barn Wood Planks die. I also die cut a base panel from a piece of acetate and adhered it to the back of the frame piece. The sentiments are from the new Inside: Kindness stamp set and I stamped them on the acetate using Stayz On black ink. TIP: Since the second line is a part of another sentiment, I cut them apart before stamping. You probably could use some masking if you don’t want to cut your stamps.

To make a snow globe shaped card base, you could die cut a folded A2 card base using the snow globe die (and make sure you let either the left side or the top hung outside of the cutting plates), or alternatively, you could just write your personal message on the back.

These adorable snow people are die cut using Build A Snowman die set. It was so fun to dress them up with many accessary pieces included in the set! I die cut a snowy hill from white glitter paper using Horizon Slimline Borders die and adhered it the panel before gluing the cute couple. I then added two layers of form tapes to the frame piece and adhered it to the panel after adding some red and iridescent sequins.

To finish off the card, I tied some twine on the base and added some snowflake die cuts (I used the one included in Mugs & Kisses die), sequins, and gems.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
