Hi everyone! Leanne here and I have more Mae the Mouse inspiration for you today.  I know you’ve been seeing lots of cards from the design team using this versatile stamp set but there’s no denying how cute and fun it really is.  My card today is A2 size and features Mae inside a heart cut out paired with a custom heat embossed and ink blended background.

I used the “XO” from Mae the Mouse to stamp and white heat emboss a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock cut slightly smaller than A2 size.  I then blended on some Tattered Rose and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink to give the panel an ombre’ look.  I used a heart die from the Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts to create the heart window.  I also cut out another heart which I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto.

I Copic colored Mae the Mouse and the candy kiss.  I stamped “hugs” onto the kiss which is the first part of my greeting.  I then built the rest of the greeting using the Friendship stamp set and coordinating Friendship Honey Cuts.  There’s some tiny heart dies included in the Friendship Honey Cuts. I used those to cut out three hearts from silver glitter card stock which I added as embellishment along with just a few Clear Iris sequins.

Wow, this is super cute! Love the XO background you created and how you started the sentiment on the chocolate kiss. Mae is adorable with her little pink cheeks.
