It’s Bobbi Lemanski from BobbiHartDesign.com here with one big HOORAY from Hope the Hedgehog! This happy hooray is especially timely this weekend because Honey Bee Stamps is having a 20% off sale through Monday, 2/17/2020. Now that is something to get excited about. 🙂 No promo code is needed, just go shop! Before you go, you may want to put these featured items on your shopping list, including one of my go-to dies below.

A white gel pen was used to highlight Hope’s whiskers and quills.

For my Hope the Hedgehog Hooray card, I used the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Hope the Hedgehog stamp and die sets

Hooray For You stamp and die sets

Stacking Banner die set (Great value alert! You get 12 banner sizes in this set!)

Journey stamp set (There’s a matching die set for this set, too.)

Mountain Z Stencils and Masks Kit (Check out the Mountain Z Fold die, too!)

Sweet of You paper pad

There’s lot of moving parts in this happy hooray card!

This 5″ X 7″ card is not only bright and cheerful, but also lively. Hope is on an Action Wobble (Honey Bee carries the minis.) and wobbles back and forth on the front. Hope’s small banner moves, too. Then inside, there’s a bigger banner that shakes and moves as you open the card. The card front background and banners were all made from the papers in the Sweet of You paper pad.

The inside of the card is a mountain scene created with the Mountain Z Stencils. I used my Blender Brushes and Distressed Oxide Inks in colors to match the Sweet of You pattern paper. I used Abandoned Coral, Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, Shabby Shutters and Fossilized Amber. The banner spans almost the entire 10″ width for a big statement inside. 🙂

Create a double banner by allowing the die cut line at the top to hang over the fold.

With the Honey Cuts Stacking Banners die set, any size banner can be created to fit your project. There are 12 sizes! This is my “go-to” banner die set. To create the mini banner on the front, I used a smaller size and then a much larger one on the inside. I folded pattern paper to create a double banner that could be glued together at the bottom, allowing the string to be strung through at the top. To do this, all you need to do is place your die with the top cut line just above the fold line so that it does not cut through at the top.

To add the card’s phrases, I used the Hooray For You stamp and die sets for the card front. The inside sentiment is from the Journey stamp set. I think this journey phrase is a perfect complement to the large scenic landscape in the background! Both sets have many options for phrases to fit your need.

Ready to shop the Honey Bee Stamps and receive 20% off through Monday, 2/17/2020? Check out all these fun items and more. Now’s the time to stock up on those favorites on your wish list!
