Hello friends! Leanne here and I have a mix and match thank you card to share today. I say mix and match because I’ve used quite a mix of Honey Bee products to create this card. This card features a die cut bouquet of daisies that was easy to make with some of the newest stand alone Honey Cuts sets.
I started with a white top folding A2 card base. I added a panel of hexagon pattern paper cut slightly smaller than A2 size. This pretty paper comes from the new Bee’s Knees 6×6 pad. I used dies from two Honey Cuts sets for the flowers, leaves, and stems – Flower Pot Card & Stitched Flowers. I cut out six flowers and six stems. I inked the edges of the flowers and centers to give them a little shading. Highlights and dot details were added with a white gel pen. I adhered the flowers and stems to form a bouquet. The flowers are popped up with dimensional foam squares while the stems are adhered flat to the card.
I die cut a tiny tag, stamped “just for you” in grey ink, and tied with bakers twine around the bouquet stems. For a little embellishment around the bouquet I added some Crystal Prism Gems and Sugared Peach Acrylic Hearts.
To finish off this card, I stamped the thank you greeting on the inside. This stamp comes from the Thanks a Bunch set. I added one die cut flower to the bottom left corner just to make the inside a little more special. There is still plenty of room to write a note to the recipient.
Thank you for joining me today! I’ll be back next Thursday with another project using stamps and dies from Honey Bee’s newest release. See you then!
