Hey there, friends!! I hope you are doing well on this Tuesday morning!! Can you believe that today is the first day of September?

I have a card to share with you today that combines the Paradise Blooms Stamp Set, Coordinating Honey Cuts, Slimline Sentiments Eyelet Honey Cuts and Hot Tropics Paper Pad…let’s get started!!

I began by gold heat embossing the hibiscus and leaves from the Paradise Blooms stamp set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored the images with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers and cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.

For the background, I chose a tropical leaf and green striped paper from the Hot Tropics Paper Pad. I trimmed the leaf paper, added a strip of matte gold mirror cardstock and adhered it to the striped paper. The floral blooms and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid adhesive, as shown.

The greeting, created with a die from the Slimline Sentiment Eyelet Honey Cuts, was cut from white cardstock three times and matte gold mirror cardstock once. They were stacked and adhered together for dimension, then adhered to the card front.

That’s it!! I really love the contrast of the bright hibiscus with the dark green patterned paper and touches of gold!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
