Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you are all staying nice and cool this summer!! My pups and I are staying cool in my craft room today, as we had a really HOT weekend outdoors!! Hello summer!!!
The Hello Summer Release is perfect for creating cards for the summer season!! Now I’m dreaming about a trip to the beach!!
I started by stamping the images from Hello Summer onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloring them with Copics and cutting them out with the Coordinating Dies. I die-cut the Sandcastle Honey Cuts from sand patterned paper included in the Beach Vibes Paper Pad. I also hand cut some sand dunes from the same patterned paper. I inked the edges of the sandcastle and dunes with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and a Blending Brush.
I stamped the sentiment from Hello Summer with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto another panel of patterned paper from the Beach Vibes Paper Pad. The die-cut sun is from the Rainbow Wishes Honey Cuts. I adhered everything as shown with liquid and foam adhesives, trimming off the excess that hung off the edges. I tucked some of the beach accessories into the sand layers.
That’s it!! A pretty simple card with lots of dimension!!
