Hello, Honey Bee friends!! I am in full-blown Christmas card making mode over here!! I have another hoiday card to share with you today!! This one features the stunning Potted Poinsettias Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the poinsettia arrangement, bow and tag from the Potted Poinsettias Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I also stamped “for you” onto the tag with red ink. After coloring the images with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.
For the background, I die-cut the Mod A2 Cover Plate from white cardstock. I thought it complemented the geometric design on the planter perfectly!! I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Grain and Grunge Paper Pad to 4.25″ wide and about 1.5″ tall and adhered it to the bottom of the die-cut panel with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered that to a white card base using the same glue. I edged the panel with Bee Creative Metallic Gold Ink and a blending brush, then diluted a bit of the ink with water and splattered it on with a paintbrush.
The sentiment, also from the Potted Poinsettias Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, gold heat embossed and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. All of the die-cuts were adhered with foam tape. To finish, I added some Gold Stickles to the centers of the poinsettias and some gold pearls from the Warm Pearls Pearl Sticker Pack.
