Hello Honey Bee friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I have this adorable die cut wreath card to share with you! Apart from the heat embossed sentiment (and tiny tiny bee if you can spot him), this card is made entirely with die cuts.

Here are the dies and stamps I used:
Flowers and leaves: Spring Bouquets die set
Tiny flowers: Treat Shop Add-On die set
Bird house and bee hive: Birds And Bees die set
Flower centers: Pocket Full Of Love die set
Sentiment: Thanks A Bunch stamp set
Tiny bee: Bill the Bear stamp set

I started this card by die cutting all the elements. The bird house was die cut from woodgrain card stock, inked, and assembled. I die cut all the flowers and leaves from various pattern papers in the new Spring Lullaby paper pad along with a few from other pads. I used a button die in the Pocket Full of Love set as flower centers. I stamped the tiny tiny bee with light brown ink, colored him with Copics, and fussy cut him out. There are bee stamps included in the Bird And Bees stamp set, but this one is slightly larger making it easier to cut out (you can totally use the coordinating die, but I decided I didn’t want the white border around the image for this project).

For the card panel, I chose this pretty pink pin stripe pattern from the Spring Lullaby paper pad. I cut it to 5.25″ square and drew a circle with a pencil to use as a guide. I also gold heat embossed the sentiment before adhering the wreath elements.

Now all you need to do is arrange the prepared elements on the circle you drew and glue them! I started with a single layer of the leaves all around the circle, then added more leaves, flowers and other elements. I think the key to make the wreath look natural and full is to tuck some flowers under (or in between) the leaves rather than gluing all of them on top of the leaves.

The completed panel was adhered to the 5.5″ square card base I made from kraft card stock. I then added twine to the bird house and scattered the Crystal Clear Acrylic Hearts rather generously. I think they almost look like heart shaped dew drops. So pretty! I then tied a piece of white ribbon to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Wishing you a wonderful week!
