Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some super sparkly, shiny cards combining some old and some new products with crazy sparkly and shiny cardstock from Tonic. Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to add all kinds of glitz to your projects, and the new Smooch and Adore Buzzwords look fantastic with the glittery Berry Fizz cardstock. Let’s get started with the details!

These cards are kind of a two-fer, in that I used the heart die cuts from the Fluttering Hearts cover plate die cuts on the Smooch card. I began by die cutting the Fluttering Hearts cover plate dies from Berry Fizz glitter and Electric Purple mirror cardstocks, reserving the die cut glitter hearts from the top cover plate die cut.

I layered the two Fluttering Hearts cover plate die cuts using Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue to create a super shiny (very difficult to photograph, ha) card base. I then die cut the new Adore Buzzword dies from white and more Berry Fizz paper, then stamped the rest of the greeting (from the coordinating Adore stamp set) on some strips of white cardstock. I popped them up with foam adhesive to lots of dimension, then added a few Moonlight gems for even more sparkle!

For my second card, I die cut the Quilted Cover Plate from white cardstock, then used a coordinating shade of lilac ink to blend the hearts from the Quilted Hearts and Dots Stencil sets.

Next, I die cut the new Smooch Buzzword die from some more Berry Fizz glitter paper, also stamping a greeting using the coordinating Smooch stamp set. I trimmed down the stenciled panel slightly and adhered it to a full size A2 panel of Berry Fizz glitter paper.

I adhered the sentiment die cut and strips to the card front using foam adhesive, then added some of the leftover die cut hearts using more Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue, finishing the card off with some more Moonlight gems.
