Hello friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I have a coffee (and tea!) themed card to share with you! I designed this card to be a non Christmas specific, but it sure could be a cute and cozy Christmas card!

Note: I added direct links to all the Honey Bee Stamps products I used for this card. You can click them (they are highlighted in blue) to go to the shop!

Background

On a piece of 5″ x 7″ Kraft card stock, I blended white pigment ink over the Snowfall stencil. Then to add more snowflakes, I used the new Season to Sparkle set stamping all over the panel with embossing ink and heat embossed with white puff embossing powder. I also stamped some with the same embossing ink for the tone on tone effect. Then I die cut out an oval shape window using the Double Stitched Ovals die. On a 5″ x 7″ card base (I made it with the same Kraft card stock), I foam mounted the panel with the oval window and inlayed an oval piece I cut from a textured beige paper from Harvest Festival pattern paper pad. The scalloped frame was die cut from red card stock using Scalloped Edge Ovals (I lightly inked the edge with white pigment ink to soften the contrast).

Main Elements

I stamped the coffee cup images from Tea Time set on the Kraft card stock and pattern paper from the Holiday Tradition paper pad with brown ink and paper pieced the cups (I also die cut a tea spoon). These gingerbread couple was a left over from my Gingerbread Mason Jar card I shared a while ago. I simply die cut them from Kraft card stock, inked them with several shades of brown inks, added brown and white splatters, and then stamped and heat embossed with white puff embossing powder. I die cut them from brown craft foam and adhered them on the back to add dimension. The poinsettia and leaves were die cut using the brand new Winter Bouquet die set. I used a combination of pattern paper and glitter & foil card stock for these.

Sentiments

I arranged all the elements in the oval window to see where I need to stamp the sentiments (they are from Winter set), and stamped them with red ink. The ‘winter’ word along with its outline was die cut using Winter set.

Card Assembly

Now all you have to do is glueing everything you prepared on the oval window. I used liquid glue for most of them but used foam tapes to pop some of them up.

Finishing Touches

I added glitter to the top of ‘winter’ die cut and glossy accents to the coffee. I cut out a tiny piece of velum and added on the stamped tea bag label with a white heart accent from Be Mine Clay Hearts. I also scattered some Sugared Peach Acrylic Hearts. I then added red & white twine to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope your week will be filled with crafty goodness!
