Happy new week friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have another cookie themed card to share with you all! I made a similar card last summer with more “summery” images and this time, I made with fruits (and a flower) images. It’s a cookie sheet filled with fruit shaped cookies with pastel icing on top!

For the card base, I first made an A2 side folding card from pink card stock and ran it through my die cutting machine with Cookie Sheet die. I made sure the cutting blade would not cut the card fold (on top of the cookie sheet) by strategically placing the die a tiny bit towards the top (so the blade will hung outside of the card fold). I then cut another cookie sheet out of a pink gingham paper from Gingham Galore: Spring paper pad. To make the cookie sheet dimensional, I cut out the middle part using my craft knife. TIP: I cut on the line the die embosses so it is easy! I adhere the middle part flat to the card base and pop up the frame with some foam tapes.

The hello cookie was made with Bitty Buzzwords die and all the other images are from Freshly Picked stamp and dies. For the cookie part, I die cut each image four times from kraft card stock using the coordinating dies (for the hello word, I used the “shadow” die) and stuck them together to make dimensional cookies. To add some texture, I splattered them with brown inks and also inked the edges with the same ink.

For the icing, I heat embossed the images on various colors of pastel card stocks using white puff embossing powder, cut them out with scissors, and adhered them on top of the “cookies”. For the “hello”, I die cut the word twice and layered on top of the cookie part. To make a part of the icing sugary, I added some Glossy Accents and sprinkled clear glitter. The tongs are from Apron BBQ Add-On dies and I cut them out from silver foil card stock and layered mint colored handle on top. TIP: To make them sturdy and dimensional, I added another card stock layer on the back.

To finish off the card, I added some White Vellum Flower Sequins to some of the cookies and added True Pearls for the centers. TIP: I colored them with my pink Copic marker to coordinate with the background.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
