Hello friends, happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I would like to share this fun fruit & veggie wreath card with you all! I made it into a birthday card (I’m constantly in need of a birthday card!), but this can be for so many other occasions.

Once you die cut (and color if you are not using colored card stocks) the elements, all you need to do is adhere them and add sentiments. Pretty easy! For this design, I decided not to use any florals but you could make a similar card with the bunny and florals too!

I die cut everything from watercolor card stock and added color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Alternatively, you could use colored card stocks instead to save time and effort. I personally love adding colors to die cuts and had such a fun time coloring up all these cute images. I also should mention that Honey Bee Stamps dies add beautiful details so all you need to do is to simply enhancing these details! Here is the list of dies I used:
Bunny Basket
Lovely Layers: Garden Veggies
Lovely Layers: Carrots
Lovely Layers: Strawberries
Lovely Layers: Greenery

The card panel is 5.5″ x 5.5″ and I chose the navy gingham pattern paper. I made a card base out of white card stock and adhered the gingham panel. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Inside: Birthday stamp set, and the sub sentiment is from Birthday Wishes set. I white heat embossed both of them on a navy card stock that matched the pattern paper and die cut with the coordinating dies. TIP: I die cut both sentiments two more times and layered all of them to make them stand out.

To assemble the wreath, I began by adhering the greenery pieces to form a rough circle. This will help visualize the shape of the wreath. You can then adhere all the other elements starting from the larger items. TIP: Overlapping the elements will make the wreath look more natural and adding foam tapes to some of the elements will add nice dimension. I tied a piece of twine around the carrots for added texture.

There is this adorable pattern paper with carrots in the new Simply Spring paper pad and I just had to use it on this card. I cut it to 5.5″ x 5.5″ and stamped the sentiment from the new Big Time Kindness set before adhering it in the inside of the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
