Hello friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this springy flower market cart scene card for you today. It’s a flower shop owned by an adorable mouse!

For the background, I used a pattern paper from Beach Vibes paper pad which looks like a pretty blu sky. I cut it down to A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″) and adhered it to the card base. The sentiment is from the new Small Card Big Hug stamp set and I white heat embossed it on top of the panel. TIP: It is good idea to heat emboss AFTER you glue the panel to the card base to prevent warping.

The elements for the flower cart were die cut from various shades of card stock and I added color to some of them with Copic markers and colored pencils. The market cart base and the wheel are from the Market Cart Builder die set (not new) and everything else are from the new Farm Fresh Marker Cart Add-On die set. I white heat embossed the little “Farm Fresh Flowers” sentiment from Squeeze The Day stamp set on the shop sign. I die cut the banner from four shades of card stock and cut & paste to make a colorful one.

The clouds are die cut from pale pink card stock using Whispy Clouds die and the grass borders are cut with one of the dies from Horizon Slimline Borders die set. This cute mouse is from the new Sweet Spring Mice set and I colored him with Copic markers and colored pencils. I love adding some shading or details with pencils after I color the images with Copics.

I arranged all the elements I prepared on the card panel (this is my favorite step!) and start gluing everything down. I pop up some of the elements with foam tapes to make the scene a little dimensional.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Have a wonderful week!!
