Hello Bee friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a couple of new cards to share for fall. It’s no secret I love summer, but fall is starting to knock on my door. The weather is cooling down, the nights are shorter and I saw my first tree changing colors yesterday. Before I head straight into a deep fall palette of rusts, golds and browns, I thought it would be fun to make cards with just a nod to fall in a soft summer palette of pinks, aquas, tans and grays. Both cards use the Fall Bouquets Honey Cuts die set and the Beach Vibes 6″ X 6″ pattern paper. I hope you like them!

Fall Greetings

For this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Buffalo Plaid Background stamp

Beach Vibes 6″ X 6″ pattern paper

I stamped the aqua background using the Buffalo Plaid Background stamp using Ranger Weathered Wood Distressed Oxide ink and attached it to a gray card base. I also added a wood faux pattern paper at the bottom to anchor the bouquet. Next, I die cut the florals and leaves and arranged them in the pumpkin base. I also added a few extra leaves from the Tropical Bouquets die set that I had on hand. The die cuts were enhanced with additional Copic coloring. The “fall greetings” phrase was die cut (“fall”) from brown cardstock and stamped (“greetings”) in Ranger Ground Expresso Distressed Oxide ink and adhered to the front to complete this card.

Thinking of You Slimline Card

For my second card, I used the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

For this slimline card, measuring 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall, I applied a faux wood pattern paper to the entire background. Next, I die cut, colored, arranged and adhered the mason jar vase, flowers and greenery as well as a natural hemp twine bow to the front. I added a few extra leaves at the base and some shading to ground the jar. Lastly, I stamped the verse from the Everything Wonderful stamp set at the top of the card to complete the look.
