Happy new week friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and today, I have this adorable fall farm scene in a mason jar for you! I went through all the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers die series and picked out the elements to create the scene. There are so many beautiful designs to choose from and I could only fit some of them in this card.

For the background, I used the new Burlap 3D Embossing Folder on a piece of cream card stock cut to A2 size. As the name implies, it creates really cool dimensional texture! To make the burlap texture stand out even more, I lightly inked the panel with brown ink concentrating on the edges.

I then die cut all the elements from white card stock (except for the jar lid I used a gingham pattern paper) and inked them with variety of inks. Here are the dies I used:
On the Farm
Mason Jar Base
Lovely Layers: Fall Bounty
Lovely Layers: Mushroom
Lovely Layers: Garden Veggies

For the ground, I die cut the bottom part of the jar and then cut the top edge with the grass border die included in the Horizon Slimline Borders die set. Since all of these dies creates such a beautiful details just by running them through the die cutting machine, you really don’t need to add much else. One of my favorite techniques is to go over these embossed lines with my clear gel pen after I inked the die cuts with the light coat of inks and then apply heavier amount of (or darker) ink on top. I used this technique on the radish, pumpkin and the mushrooms.

I inked the jar with blue ink and stamped the sentiment from Hello Fall stamp set also with coordinating blue ink. I then added some white splatter to add a little texture. Before adhering the mason jar on the panel with some foam tapes, I tied some brown twine around the neck. All you need to do now is to arrange all the elements you inked up and adhere them with either liquid glue or foam adhesives.

Thank you do much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
