Hi Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a fall card using more Autumn Splendor release products. I grew up working in my mom’s flower shop. When the fall season came around, mom would replace all the summery hangings on display with decorated fall wreaths of all sizes. This release has a grapevine wreath ready for you to decorate! My fall wreath card features the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Grapevine Wreath die set

Bold Botanicals stamp set and coordinating die set

Sweater Weather stamp set and coordinating die set

Itty Bitty Fall Flowers die set

Scattered Leaves Background Stencil

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I started with stenciling leaves using the Scattered Leaves Background Stencil and Distressed Oxide Inks on a dark teal cardstock. For inks, I used Salvaged Patina for the base layer and Rusty Hinge for the top layer stencil. Distressed Oxide Inks are great for this because they “sit” on top of the cardstock, allowing the light colors to show up on a dark color. I set my background aside to fully dry.

I die cut the wreath die from white, kraft, and metallic copper cardstock. I layered the pieces together to make the wreath look full. I also die cut the bow out of white cardstock. and shaded it slightly using Copics in E53 and E50. I added hemp twine to the bow to make it fuller as well.

I stamped and die cut two stem images from the Bold Botanicals stamp set and coordinating die set in a dark brown ink and colored fall leaves on them. I did not use their coordinating blossoms, only the stems. I also die cut small leaves from white cardstock using the Itty Bitty Fall Flowers die set and added the falling leaves around the wreath. I colored them in using E53 and E50 for a softer look to match the bow. I adhered them above and below the wreath using Bee Creative Precision Glue. Small little sparkles were also added around the leaves. I used bits from Grandma’s Garden Sequin Mix and Aztec Empire Sequin Mix. Don’t you just love the little, ivory roses?

Lastly, I heat embossed the phrase, “fall is in the air” from the set, Sweater Weather stamp set using White Opaque Embossing Powder on dark brown cardstock. I die cut the phrase and added it to the front using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to make it pop up a little. This card, filled with warm fall vibes, is ready to give!
