Hello Bee Crafters! When I say fall is in the air, I mean fall is in the air! The leaves are changing color and some are already falling from the tree tops. I wanted to capture some of the fun colors we will be seeing soon on this card. I’m using the following new Falloween release products by Honey Bee Stamps:

Thinking of you Big Time stamps and coordinating Honey Cut dies (from a previous release)

My featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. For adhering my elements together, I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this card, I stenciled the treetops design on a 5″ X 7″ card front using the Colors of Autumn Stencil Set and Distress Oxide Inks in the following colors: Ground Espresso, Fossilized Amber, Crackling Campfire, Mowed Lawn, Forest Moss, and Iced Spruce. I used Blender Brushes to add the color.

I used a W5 Copic Sketch marker to add additional tree trunks in the open areas around the colorful trees. I also used a B000 and B00 marker to add the blue sky.

I cut the stenciled design down to 5″ wide X 6″ tall and attached it to a white card base, aligning it at the top. I added a 3/4″ tall X 5″ wide strip of pattern paper right below the tree design.

For the sentiment, I used the Thinking of you Big Time stamps and coordinating Honey Cut dies to add the “Thinking of you” to the card front. I attached the words using smaller cuts of a foam tab to make them stand out.

I die cut a few leaves and wheat sprigs using the Lovely Layers: Mini Fall Florals Honey Cuts dies. I blended Distress Oxide ink (using the same colors I used on the trees) on them to make them fall-colored. I attached the leaves around the phrase. I also added a few Fall is in the Air Pearl Gem Stickers around the sentiment.

Using watercolor ink in a dark brown, I splattered on some ink all over the front design. I did cover the phrase to keep the clean white border around the scripted words. I attached the card front to a white A7 card base. This card is ready for fall!
