Fall greetings to you all! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this fall floral shaker card to share with you. Apart from the little sentiment strip, it is all die cut card! I used a bunch of floral die sets including spring and winter sets. By using the fall-ish color scheme, you could make any floral die cuts into autumn arrangement!

Garden Lattice Base Die

To make the front panel, I layered Garden Lattice Top die cut (cream color) on the Garden Lattice Base die cut (white) using my go-to precision tip glue. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the back and added a layer of foam tapes around the edge. TIP: If you are going to use a lot of sequins or bulky shaker fillings, use at least two layers of foam tapes. I filled the shaker with some brown sequins I found in my stash, and closed it with the card base I made with cream card stock.

Now the card base is ready to be decorated! I die cut bunch of flowers, leaves, and acorns from various papers including some pattern papers and velum all in the shade of brown, teal and white. Then I arranged them on the card front and adhered them with liquid glue and foam tapes.

The word ‘Fall’ was die cut twice from white card stock and once from teal pattern paper (from Harvest Festival Pattern Paper) and stacked up to make it sturdy. The shadow is two layers of white die cut. ‘GREETINGS’ was white heat embossed on dark brown card stock and trimmed to be added on top of the Fall die cut.

To finish off the card, I added some gem stones to the flower centers (there are sooo many pretty gem stone stickers available in the Honey Bee shop!) and Nuvo Glitter drops in Chocolate Fondue to the acorns.

Thank you so much to stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
