Hello, Honey Bee friends. Bobbi Lemanski here (IG: @bobbihartdesign) with a holiday card designed for the Irish in all of us. Instead of making this just a St. Patrick’s Day card, I designed it as an “enjoy your day” card to be used not only for St. Paddy’s Day, but birthdays or any day. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Home Essentials 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I used Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card measures 5″ X 7″ in size.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I created the background by adding this vibrant green pattern paper from the Home Essentials 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad to the base of the card along with a white edge strip measuring 1/4″ X 5″ at the top of the pattern piece. Next, I stamped the mouse and just the shamrock portion of the mouse 12 times to create the shamrock border. The mouse and each shamrock were die cut using the coordinating die set.
I colored the images using the following Copic colors:
- Mouse: W4, W3, W2, W1, R21, R20
- Shamrocks: G09, YG67, YG25, YG23, YG03, YG01, YG00
Using my Gelly Roll white gel pen, I added white polka dots the shamrocks in the hand of the mouse as well as the two shamrocks in the wood crate.
To make the crate, I die cut the two pieces from a light brown/tan cardstock and colored them using the following Copics: 100, E59, E57, E55, E47, E44. I adhered the two sections together using 1/4″ square black dimensional foam tabs to create the dimensional crate and then adhered the mouse and two shamrocks inside.
To complete the card, I stamped in black ink and die cut the “enjoy your day” phrase from the Squeeze the Day stamp set and attached it right over the 1/4″ white strip on the card using a foam tab. Lastly, I added pretty confetti in a mix of greens from the Succulent Garden Confetti Mix. The Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue is a perfect adhesive for attaching a little sparkle to your cards. It dries clear so your sequins never loose their original color underneath.
I will be sending this card to my father-in-law to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. His grandmother came to the United States from Ireland. She was born on St. Patrick’s Day, too. 🙂
