Well hello everyone!! I have been trying all day to get this post up – it seems like Facebook & Instagram have been wonky most of the day and I have had nothing but issues with all the other sites I use. That said – I’m here now so lets get to the cards LOL!

I am just itching for spring and flowers and warmth – it’s been a long and cold winter here in Saskatchewan. So I pulled out a couple of my favorite Honey Bee floral sets – Spring Blossoms and Chin Up Buttercup.

I heat embossed them onto Distress Watercolor paper and did some SUPER easy colouring – basically just blend on some dye ink that will react with water (I used Wendy Vecchi Make Art inks from Ranger – Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Inks will work too!). After applying the ink I sprayed the panels with water and let them dry. That’s it.

I die cut them with their coordinating Honey Cuts dies, and for the purple cards I used the Honey Bee Thinking of You Honey Cuts Die for my sentiment. The grey panels were die cut with one of the Deckle Edge A2 Honey Cuts dies and I sponged ink over one of the Hexi Patterns Stencils. After everything was adhered I splattered the card fronts with Distress Oxide Sprays.

I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the florals with the same inks that I did the watercoloring with on the fronts and that was it!

To see how these cards came together check out my video below:

All the supplies I used are listed and linked here at the end of my post. Thanks so much for stopping by!!
