Hello and happy new week crafty friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this spring filled mason jar shaped card for you today! It’s a fun shaker so you can fill it with whatever you like! I went with Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies and clay hearts, but you can put flower die cuts, sequins, or pretty gems etc.

I die cut the mason jar card base and an extra panel (half of the card base) from light blue card stock using Mason Jar Card die. I cut out the shaker window from the die cut panel using a rounded rectangle die I had in my stash. You could use any rectangle die or cut out the window using a craft knife instead. I also die cut a jar shape (half of the jar card base again) from heat resistant acetate, and white heat embossed the sentiment ‘To Some Bunny special’ from Hoppy Easter set. I adhered the acetate to the back of the card panel and put a layer of foam tapes.

For the inside of the jar, I die cut bunch of Easter eggs using Easter Basket Builder die from assortment of pastel colored pattern papers including the new Playful Pastel paper pad. To make these chocolate bunnies, I stamped and heat embossed the bunny from the same Easter Basket Builder set on light brown card stock using dark brown embossing powder. On the card panel, I arranged some of the eggs and bunnies and glued them so everything will not just sit on the bottom of the jar all the time. I then add the rest of the eggs and some Be Mine Clay Hearts on top and adhered the panel on top to close the jar.

These cute chicks are from Easter Buddies set. I stamped them with light ink, colored them with Copics and die cut them out with the coordinating dies. The bunny ears are from Easter Basket Builder set and I cut them out with scissors and glued them on the chick. I then adhered them on the card panel with foam tapes. To decorate the jar, I die cut the top (The ‘fabric’ portion) from Spring Lullaby Paper pad (the die is included in the Mason Jar Card die set) and glued it on the jar. I added some peach colored ribbon on top. The little tag and HBD2U sentiment is from Piece of Cake set. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Kraft card stock and heat embossed it using pale blue embossing powder. I then cut it out with a tag die included in the Piece of Cake set and added it with twine.

Thank you very much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!!
