Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your day is off to a great start!! Brenda here with an Easter slimline card to share with you today!!

I began by stamping the adorable images from the Easter Buddies Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I just love how the die for the bunny cuts the arms to hold one of the other die-cuts…so cute!!! I set those aside and went to work on my background.

I trimmed a couple of panels of bristol cardstock to slimline size and blended Broken China & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks onto one for the sky and Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks onto the other for the grass. Once dry, I splattered the sky with diluted Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and die-cut the grass with a die from the Horizon Slimline Borders Die Set. I also used the Horizon Slimline Borders to die-cut the clouds and picket fence from white cardstock. The clouds, fence and grass die-cuts were adhered to the sky background panel.

The slimline scalloped frame was die-cut from white cardstock using the Slimline Sentiments Eyelet Honey Cuts. It was adhered with Bee Creative Glue. The flowers were adhered with liquid glue, while the chicks, basket and eggs were adhered with foam tape for dimension. “Happy Easter”, from the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set, was stamped directly onto the clouds with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and shine to the eyes and noses with a black glaze pen and my little scene was finished!

The Easter Buddies Stamp Set has so many adorable images and I really love that I could combine so many of them on this slimline card!!

Well, that’s it for me today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
