Happy new week crafty friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this love themed card decorated with small die cut florals. This A2 sized card is perfect not only for love themed cards but also for general hello, birthdays, and more!

The card panel is a piece of Kraft color card stock die cut with the new Lace A2 Cover Plate die (I only used the frame). It is very intricate and pretty as it is, but I decided to step it up a bit by using the coordinating Layered Lace stencil with tone on tone ink. The sentiment is from Inside: Kindness stamp set and I white heat embossed it on the panel. I then pop this panel on the card base made from cream card stock with some foam tapes.

To decorate the panel, I went through my die collection and pulled out the ones with small florals. TIP: It helps to fill the space nicely if you have some leaves that are little bit larger in size. You can use whatever you have, but here are the dies I used just in case you are interested:

Lovely Layers: Roses (leaves and buds)
Lovely Layers: Anemone (buds)
Itty Bitty Fall Flowers (small leaves and white flowers)
Apron Garden Tools Add-On (blue and orange flowers)
Country Christmas Wreath (dark blue berries)
White Vellum Flower Sequin

I die cut some of them from colored card stocks and some from white card stock and inked them to the color I want. Now the fun part of arranging those die cuts! I usually just lay them first to see what I like and then add liquid glue or foam dots to secure them one by one. TIP: Start with the larger images (leaves and buds) and add other elements on top (or underneath).

To finish off the card, I added some gems/pearls to the flower centers and a white acrylic heart below the sentiment. I also tied a piece of blue twine I found in my stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!!
