Hello, Honey Bee friends!! I have a card to share today that would be perfect for Father’s Day!! I often struggle with masculine cards, but Honey Bee has some amazing stamp sets, both new and old, that make it much easier to create cards for all the dudes in your life!!

I began by stamping the images from Way to Goat onto white cardstock with Momento Black Ink, colored them with Copics, then cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. The card base is a 6″ x 12″ piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock that was scored and folded in the center. I added clouds by ink-blending Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink with a Blending Brush and the cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencils.

Using the Barn Scene Builder Honey Cuts, I cut the barn from a sheet of wood paper included in the Home Essentials Paper Pad, the windmill from Frosted Silver Cardstock, door frame and window trim from Distress Woodgrain Cardstock, straw bales from mustard cardstock and the roof from brown cardstock. Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks were blended onto the die-cuts cut from the Distress Woodgrain Cardstock. The barn was assembled and added to the card front. I also added a Large Cloud die-cut to the sky under the left side of the barn.

Dad was die-cut from the Distress Woodgrain Cardstock and black cardstock with the Bee Bold Lowercase Honey Cuts. (The same Distress Oxides were blended onto the wood paper.) The greeting, also from Way to Goat, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die.

The Grass Border was cut from Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink-blended with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. All of the elements were added with a combination of liquid and dimensional adhesive. A white gel pen adds highlights and a black glaze pen adds some shine to the critters’ eyes.

That’ll do it for me today!! Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
