Speaking of Birthdays my Gram’s 90th was yesterday and this was the card I made for her.
My Gram loves ice cream. It’s her favorite sweet treat after dinner so I knew that’s what I wanted her card to be. However, I couldn’t find any ice cream stamps in my stash so I decided to improvise my own. the Cupcake images from Piece of cake worked perfectly!
I created a one layer card because, well, I love them. I stamped only the top portion of the cake holder to create a decorative edge and then used a pencil to sketch in a bowl. Once I was happy with the shape I made it permanent with a copic safe pen.
I stamped and masked my images starting with the whipped cream since that would be on top. However, if you want to avoid fixing some boo-boos like I had too stamp your candles and cherry first haha.
