Happy fall everyone! Leanne here today. I don’t think I’m alone in saying, Autumn is my favorite season. I love the colors of the changing leaves, and the crisp cool air, and most importantly all things pumpkin …especially pumpkin spice coffee!

This is what inspired my project for today – a coffee shaped card that doubles as a gift card holder with a pumpkin theme.

I started by die cutting the Coffee Cup Card from 110 lb white card stock. I die cut the sleeve pieces from kraft card stock which had been pre-stamped with the Farmhouse Check Background.

To decorate the plaid sleeve, I added a tiny pumpkin and leaves. Using the Itty Bitty Pumpkins and Itty Bitty Leaves Honey Cuts, I die cut the pieces from colored card stock. I then used Copic Markers in coordinating colors to add some shading.

To finish off the outside of card, I added the Treat Yo Self sentiment and tied some orange baker’s twine around the card front.

When you slide off the cup sleeve and open the card, a surprise is revealed… a pocket with a coffee shop gift card and cute image of a pumpkin spice latte.

The pocket is super easy to make. I simply die cut an extra coffee cup shape and trimmed the top off. I added the scalloped border (die cut with this slimline Honey Cuts). I then adhered the pocket piece to the card back with liquid glue being careful to only apply the glue on the outer edges.

The fun images are from the new Treat Yo Self stamp set. I Copic colored the images and used the coordinating Treat Yo Self Honey Cuts to die cut.

Copic colors used: green – BG90, BG93, BG96; orange – YG02, YG07, YG09; black – N6, N8; whipped cream shading – YR30
