Hello friends! Happy New week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio and I have this adorable Christmas tree shaped gift tags to share with you. These are super easy to make but are so detailed and pretty! I only made two, but can’t wait to make more in rainbow colors!

I first die cut the tree shape from white pearl card stock and stars from pink and teal foil card stock using Grandma’s Christmas Tree die. TIP: I die cut the stars twice (total of four) so I can glue them back to back. I then put these die cuts in the coordinating Grandma’s Christmas Tree 3D embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. This embossing folder adds some amazing details!

To add color to my trees, I used the coordinating Grandma’s Christmas Tree stencils and inked the entire tree. For the snowy texture, I used some white glitter paste over the stencil.

To make these tags sturdier, I die cut extra tree shape from white card stock (to be a base) and another from pattern paper from Giddy For Gingham paper pad to be the back of the tag. TIP: Make sure to die cut the pattern paper from the back side since the tree shape is not symmetrical. I then stamped “To” “From” and “Handmade with Love” on the pattern paper die cut using Tag, You’re It stamp set. I then adhered the inked tree on the front and the pattern paper one on the back of the white die cut. TIP: I sandwiched the base of the star in between so they were secure.

The sentiment is from Let Nature Sing stamp set and I gold heat embossed it on white card stock and die cut them with the coordinating dies. To make them stand out a bit, I die cut three more (each) and layered behind the sentiment before adhering them to the tree.

Using a small hole punch, I punched a hole on the top of each tree and thread a piece of white iridescent cord and added a jingle bell. To finish off the tags, I added some Cupcake Rhinestone Mix.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
