Hello Friends and Happy Monday!

Today I have another Frameless Shaker Card to share with you. We have a ton of birthday celebrations and this during the summer and this year I needed to make a special one for my God Father who turned 70. You can change up the colors, the year, and customize a card like this for any occasion.

CARD DETAILS

I began by stamping out the images from the RAISE A GLASS stamp set onto the background using Blackout Ink. I then used Ateliers Inks (see links below for colors) to add color to the background. 

Next, I cut a piece of acetate to 4.75 x 6 inches. I then centered the panel on the acetate, this will leave you with a 1/2 inch around the perimeter of the card panel to score and fold. I cut off the corners to make the folding easier. To the backside edges of the panel, I added Scor-tape to secure the flaps in place. Once 3 of the sides were glued down I then used AURORA LIGHTS Confetti Mix and the BOKEH LIGHTS Confetti to add the shaker bits to the pocket. I then sealed the last acetate flap down and attached the shaker panel to the card base. For a visual of a similar card, I have made in the past click → HERE.

For the Sentiments:

1. I used the BEE BOLD NUMERIC DIES for the 70. 
2. The “Cheers” comes from the SIP SIP HOORAY  that was stamped on black card stock and heat embossed in white. I then used the coordinating SIP SIP HOORAY DIES to die cut it.
3. The “to” and the “years” comes from the BRIE MINE stamp set. For the years I had to get a bit creative and piece together the “y” from lucky and the ears stamp together. I then did some partial die-cutting to cut out the word using the coordinating ears die from BRIE MINE HONEY CUTS and then fussy cut around the “y”.
