Hello friends! If you follow my Instagram account, you know I LOVE making mason jar shaker card. Today I’m sharing this fun shaker card filled with colorful conversation hearts. I couldn’t resist adding adorable Mae the mouse (in her overalls!!).

To make the mason jar, I die cut one jar using Mason Jar Card Die (this is for the card base) then die cut another for the front window (you only need to cut half of it). I also die cut the fabric top from some polka dot fabric paper I found in my stash. To make the window, I used Scallop A7 Die (4th largest one). I used partial die cut technique to cut out the right size window. I backed this window with acetate and added 2 layers of foam tape on the back.

To make these cute conversation hearts, I die cut bunch of hearts with the Mae the Mouse Honey Cuts and lightly blended some distress inks. The stamp set includes 4 tiny sentiments to fit perfectly in the heart die cut, so I stamped them with red ink. I layered coordinating colors of fun foam on the back (except the few that I glued behind to make it look more dimensional).

Now all you have to do is assemble the jar. On the card base (die cut earlier and scored), I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink, glued on some candy hearts (with no foam), arranged the rest of the hearts on top, and then adhere the front panel. I stamped and colored Mae the mouse and her overalls with Copics and colored pencils. I die cut her out with the coordination die, and glued the overalls that I fussy cut on top. The die will cut around her tiny arms so you can tack a little chocolate (I stamped & heat embossed the chocolate on silver foil card stock and the sentiment on velum)! I glued Mae and the fabric top on the jar, and added some ribbon and twine. The tag was die cut with Piece of Cake die and the I “heart” U sentiment  from Piece of Cake set was heat embossed.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. Have a wonderful week!
