Hello! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a slimline card using new products from Honey Bee Stamp’s Hello Summer release. My goal was to mix and match a couple of sets from the release in a new way. I chose the following products to use together:
Birds of Paradise stamp and die sets
Raise a Glass stamp and die sets
Tropical Tweets stamp and die sets
The idea behind this card is to include one drink that does not look like the others. Similar to the colorful parrot, this drink stands out from the rest. I think this could be a fun card for anyone that is special to you, has done something extraordinary or simply is unique in his/her own way.
The entire card was stamped and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. The drinks are from the Raise A Glass stamp set. The martini glass was die cut out of the front card panel for a peek-through element. The parrot bird from the stamp set, Birds of Paradise was stamped, colored, die cut and added to the front using dimensional adhesive tabs over the martini glass opening.
For added interest and to “stand out” further, I thought it would be fun to add a small rainbow of color inside the martini glass on the inside to match the bird. With the bird positioned over the colorful martini, it looks like he is looking over his shoulder at the “stand out” drink.
Inside the card, the martini glass die cut image was positioned right under the card front opening. I added the finishing phrase to “Aparrotly, you were…” to the inside, “Born to stand out” next to the glass. This card fits nicely into a business-sized envelope for mailing.

I really like the way you colored this!! Love the colors too. Great card!
This is really clever. I’ve been playing with cards of this shape, thank you for the beautiful example!
Thank you, Kristen. Slimline cards are a nice change and are perfect for smaller images, too. Have a great day! Bobbi
