Hello Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here sharing a greeting card featuring the cute new baby clothes dies. Honey Bee Stamps always has the cutest, most detailed dies and this set is no exception. From onesies to twosies, you can play dress up or dressmaker with these fun dies! I had some fun making a “collection” using coordinating prints from some of the Honey Bee paper pads. I am using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Bundle of Joy dies

Sweet Nursery stamp set and coordinating dies

Inside: Welcome Baby Sentiments and coordinating dies

Garden Lattice Cover Plate die

Spring Lullaby 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad

Sweet on You 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panels. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

How to Make this Card

To make the wardrobe cabinet (aka card base), I cut a 10″ wide X 7″ tall piece of white cardstock and scored at 2-1/2″ in from each of the short 7″ sides to make the gatefold card base. Next, I die cut the Garden Lattice Cover Plate die to make decorative panels on the front the wardrobe. They measure 2″ wide X 5-/2″ long. I added 1/8″ strips of cardstock around the raw edge sides to make them look finished and symmetrical. Next I added knobs using the buttons in the baby clothes set to the bottom drawers. Total finished size of the adhered panels with the drawers is 2-1/8″ wide X 6-1/2″ long.

Now comes the fun part… making baby clothes! I played around with tiny patterns that could work together and found prints from two pads, Spring Lullaby 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad and Sweet on You 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad. I think one of my patterns may even be from an older pad that is no longer available. You can have fun with this, try different prints and colors together.

For the outside of the card, I made a set of clothes in peach and yellow and added all the frills, piecing items together. I added a daisy bib design to the front of the jumper and a faux stitched heart to the other. I little blanket, hanging out of the drawer below and a hanger from the Sweet Nursery stamp set and coordinating dies adds a touch of sweetness, too. The phrase is from the Inside: Welcome Baby Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies.

Inside the wardrobe, I added three more outfits on hangers. I changed up patterns, pieced together prints and just had fun making these cute sets. I added two phrases from the card using Inside: Welcome Baby Sentiments and coordinating dies.

I used my Gelly Roll white gel pens to add faux stitching and little tiny buttons. I used Bronze Pearl Pen for the hanger hooks. I am sharing a close-up above to see the details. This card is done and ready to send to the new parents! You can shop the entire Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Day release here.
