Hello, fellow stampers and card makers!! Autumn is definitely in the air and so is this little squirrel on my card today!! I combined several products from the newest Autumn Afternoon release to create this scene. Can’t you just feel the excitement of these adorable squirrels frolicking in the leaves?!?

I stamped the squirrels, pumpkins and acorns from the Nuts About You stamp set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I ink blended Peeled Paint and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks onto panels of bristol smooth cardstock. Once the ink was dry, I die-cut the grass with a die in the Horizon Slimline Borders Die Set and the clouds from white cardstock with a die from the same set.

I die-cut some leaves from leftover alcohol ink panels and red mirror cardstock using the Itty Bitty Leaves Honey Cuts. The sentiment was created using the Autumn Buzzwords stamp set and Coordinating Dies. “Autumn” was die-cut from red mirror cardstock and vellum. The rest of the sentiment was stamped with red ink onto a white cardstock strip.

All I had to do was adhere everything!! The sentiment and one squirrel was adhered with foam tape and everything else was added with Bee Creative Precision Glue. I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and darkened the eyes, noses and mouths with a black glaze pen.

I hope you love how this turned out as much as I do!!

Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!

Brenda
