Hey everyone!! AmyR here from Prairie Paper & Ink with a fun slimline card to share with y’all!

Slimline cards have become more and more popular lately. As far as I’m aware there isn’t a “for sure” measurement for slimline cards – they all vary. Basically as long as they fit in a business size envelope they’re a “slimline card”. This one is 3.5″ by 8.5″. I used Honey Bee’s Up Up and Away stamp set with the coordinating Honey Cuts Dies, along with the Blown Away stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies and the Large Clouds Honey Cuts dies.

I ink blended several Distress Oxide inks onto some Ranger Distress watercolor paper and splattered it with water. I then heat embossed the hot air balloons onto Distress watercolor paper and painted them in with more Distress Oxide inks using a water brush. The clouds from the Up Up and Away stamp set were white heat embossed onto vellum and die cut with the coordinating wafer dies.

I used the Blown Away stamp set for my sentiments – I white heat embossed them onto black card stock then trimmed down the one sentiment and used the coordinating wafer dies for the others.

On the inside of the card I added one more hot air balloon and another sentiment from the Blown Away set and that was it!
