Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I’ve got a super-sized, super sweet Valentine’s Day card for you! I combined the older Piece of Cake with the Balloon Bunch dies and Fluttering Hearts Stencils to create this long card. Let’s get started with all of the details!

I began by stamping several of the images from the Piece of Cake using very pale gray ink on some watercolor paper, then used some watercolor markers to add some vibrant pinks, corals, and mint to the images. I used the coordinating Honey Cuts to cut the images out.

Next, I die cut some balloons using the Balloon Bunch dies from colored cardstock, adding some shading around the edge with blending brushes. I used the same shades of ink to blend the Fluttering Hearts Stencils across the top of a long card.

I white heat embossed the greeting on some strips of black cardstock, adding the die cut “love” from the Piece of Cake Honey Cuts. I love using these long cards occasionally, especially when using larger images like these. So much more room on the canvas!

Well, that’s all for me today! Hope you have a sweet Valentine’s Day!
