Hi Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a holiday card featuring several new products from the Make It Merry release by Honey Bee Stamps. This release is AMAZING! There are so many great products that mix and match so well. Today, I’ve mixed the following sets together to make this festive little snowy forest:

Mason Jar Vase Honey Cuts dies

Scandinavian Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies

Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Dies

Make It Merry paper pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I used Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this A7 card, I started with a 5″ X 7″ card base made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I added a pattern paper on the top half from the Make It Merry paper pad. On the bottom, I used a woodgrain pattern paper from the Grain and Grunge paper pad. For the mason jar, I cut the base and lid layers from a warm gray cardstock. I colored the lid using Copic Sketch Markers in Y28 and Y26 to make it appear golden metal, like the real vintage jars. For the snowy hill inside the jar, I cut another mason jar base piece from white cardstock and hand cut some white rolling hills at the top to add to the jar. I attached a red and white baker’s twine string around the neck of the jar.

Using the Scandinavian Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies, I stamped (using various shades of green ink) and cut out some cute, little green trees . I also tucked in some greenery from the Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Dies for a little more dimension inside the jar. I used my Gelly Roll white pen and my C1 gray Copic marker to add falling snow to the scene sky and snow hill.

I attached the mason jar to the pattern-covered card front using foam dots and tucked in more holly, berries, and evergreen branches around the base of the jar. I shaded the red berries using R29, R46 and R14 Copic Sketch Markers and add a sprinkling of white snowflakes to the leaves using my white pen. The sentiment is from the Scandinavian Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies. I attached the sentiment using foam dots to complete the card.
