Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some autumnal inspiration using the beautiful new Autumn Splendor Cover Plate die. I love the incredible details on this new die, and it looks marvelous using so many different techniques! For today’s project, I went with some simple ink blending with some beautiful autumn colors, featuring just a touch of pink. Let’s get started with the details!

I began by die cutting the Autumn Splendor Cover Plate from some white cardstock, then used Blending Brushes to blend coral, yellow, and hot pink inks. I adore the variety of colors in the fall, how they blend seamlessly into each other. I don’t normally love orange, but add in that hot pink… yowza!

For the greeting, I used the new Sweater Weather stamps and dies. I heat embossed the sweet greeting (one of my favorite lines from Anne of Green Gables!) on some thick vellum using some sparkling embossing powder. I adhered it to the front of the ink blended die cut using some vellum adhesive.

I adhered the blended die cut to a deep maroon-ish coral (I’m not sure what color this cardstock is, but I kinda love it!) using foam adhesive. The final touch was to add some sparkling gems!

Well, that’s all for my project today. I am enjoying the new Autumn Splendor release so much. I hope you’ll check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
