Hello, Honey Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski (@bobbihartdesign) here and I’m sharing a beautiful wood vase of fall stems with you today. I’m using several new products from the Honey Bee Stamps, Heartfelt Harvest release including:

Lovely Layers: Wood Vase Honey Cuts

Fancy Fall Layering Frames Honey Cuts

Lovely Layers: Autumn Bouquet Honey Cuts

Autumn Delight Set of 6 Background Stencil set

Pinstripes and Polka Dots: Harvest Paper Pad

Heartfelt Pearl Stickers

From a prior release: Miss You Big Time stamp set and coordinating dies

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and most of the die cuts. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue to adhere my elements together. When I want more dimension, I use Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab to make items stand out. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by die cutting the wood vase, fall stems, and the decorative frame. I used a brown cardstock for the vase and ink blended on Ranger Distress Oxide Ink in Ground Espresso around the edges. I also took an older, dry white Gelly Roll Pen and dragged it across the woodgrain to create the highlights. This step offers dimension to the texture and a bit of a rustic look, too. For the fall stems, I added a little color to the flower blossoms using Copic Sketch Markers – E53, E51, R20, YR27, YR24, Y21 and my white Gelly roll pen. The greenery was die cut from various shades of yellow-green cardstock and a darker brown cardstock for the stick branches.

For the floral print inside the background, I used the Autumn Delight Set of 6 Background Stencil Set and Ranger Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge, Forest Moss, and Shabby Shutters. Once the ink was dry, I splattered brown watercolor ink over the pattern. I cut the design down to fit inside the frame border. The frame was cut from a gold pinstripe cardstock. I added Bronze Nuvo Drops (similar color product) around the frame. I attached the framed pattern to a pink polka dot paper. I also added a 1/2″ strip of pink pinstripe right under the frame for a little extra pattern. It almost looks like a ribbon piece.

Next, I assembled the vase of flowers and attached it using foam dots to make the vase stand out. I added a bow made from hemp string (TIP: Use glue to adhere it to the card.) I attached Harvest pearl gem stickers, trailing down the vase, adorning the greenery. The final add was the “thank you” scripted word. I stamped the “thank you” sentiment in black, cut it using the coordinating die, and attached it to the front panel using foam dots (cut down to fit the size of the cut.) I attached the front panel to a white A7 card base.
