Hello, crafty friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a sunny greeting made for a friend. With the Autumn Afternoon release by Honey Bee Stamps now live, we have so many fun new floral stamp sets to enjoy and create with for fall. Today, I’m using several new products from this fabulous fall release including:

Sweet Sunflowers stamp and die sets

Horizon Slim Line Border dies

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped, colored and cut out the sunflowers, leaves and wheat stalks. I also stamped and die cut the phrase, “Hello sweet friend.” I set these elements aside and worked on the background next.

I created the background by applying a blue-green to green color wash on Canson XL Watercolor paper. I die cut three layers of the watercolor background using the cloud die from the new slim line Horizons Slim Line Border die. I layered the three and attached it to a darker teal blue background, allowing the teal to show at the top of the card front.

I adhered everything together using Honey Bee Stamps Precision Glue. I LOVE this glue. No clogging… ever! Honey Bee Stamps even offers two stand choices for it which not only keeps the glue in the point (no clogging and ready to use), but also looks pretty on your desk! Here’s links to the stands – black/white striped holder  and rainbow striped holder. Sequins were also glued in place. The brown sequins are from the Tiki Hut mix and the teal/green ones are from Melon Ball mix. A little sparkle never hurts, right? This card is friend-ready now!

You can shop the entire Autumn Afternoon release by Honey Bee Stamps now! Happy crafting!
