Hi Honey Bee friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here sharing a little village tucked inside a snow globe for Christmas! I paired the new Winter Village Honey Cuts set with the Snow Globe Shaker for a fun snowy scene for the holidays! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products for this card:

Winter Village Honey Cuts

Snow Globe A2 Shaker Honey Cuts

Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Honey Cuts

A2 Mountain Scene Builder Honey Cuts

Home for the Holidays stamp set and coordinating dies

For the featured project below, I used Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink for the stamping. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size. Now for the details…

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut the village elements from shades of gray, pink and blue colored cardstock to create the houses, trees and lampposts. I also die cut the large mountain in the background and a few white frilly evergreen trees using a warm gray and white cardstock. I hand cut snow hills for the foreground scene. I assembled the houses and the entire scene using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue.

Using the Snow Globe A2 Shaker Honey Cuts, I cut the shaker frame from white cardstock and two more layers from craft foam and the window from clear acetate. The globe stand base was cut from warm gray cardstock. I added woodgraining lines to it to make it look like wood. I assembled the globe, adding a mixture of sequins inside the globe for the shaker elements. The two layers of foam are important to allow room for sequins to shake and move around. The globe was assembled using double sided tape between the layers.

Once the globe was completely assembled and attached to an A7 card base made from warm gray cardstock, I added some Winter Greenery cut from antique gold cardstock and attached to the globe’s base. I attached a sentiment and a few Gem stickers to the evergreens to finish the card front.

Inside the card, I stamped a beautiful sentiment from the Home for the Holidays stamp set to finish the card.
