Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I’ve got a sweet little birthday card to share! The kitties in the Oh My Whiskers stamp set are just about the most adorable little felines I’ve ever seen! I combined the sweet little kitties with some older dies to create this birthday card, so let’s get started with the details.

I began by stamping a couple of kitties (and balloons!) and butterflies from Oh My Whiskers using some Copic-friendly ink on white cardstock, then colored them with a variety of gray, peach, pink, and raspberry Copic markers. I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut some grass from aqua cardstock using the Grass Border die, and added some subtle shading using darker aqua ink and a blending brush. I also die cut some clouds using the Large Clouds dies and some heavyweight vellum. I blended some hot pink ink on a panel of A2 coral cardstock to create a sunset background using another blending brush.

I adhered the die cut pieces to the blended coral background using both liquid and foam adhesive for lots of dimension. Finally, I added a greeting with the Happy Birthday Honey Cut and coordinating stamp set.

Well, that’s all for my project today!! I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous weekend!
